Antonio Rodríguez · CEO · Spanish & English

A Spanish citizen who attended Cleveland State University on a Fulbright Scholarship, Antonio holds a degree in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online.

He has been a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS since 2011 and an Acceptance Agent since 2018. Antonio is the General Coordinator of the team and the U.S. Tax Consultants supervisor. He is an expert in U.S. Fiscal Law for expats.

Olga Generalova · Country Director · Spanish, Russian & English

Olga holds a degree in Economic Sciences from the National University of Voronezh. She is an expert in International Accounting and Spanish Fiscal Law.

Her main activities include accounting, quarterly taxes, books, and annual accounts for “autonómos” and Small/Medium Corporations, Modelo 720 and Spanish Tax Returns.

James Iglesias · Program Manager · Spanish & English

He studied Business Administration at SMAC with a Master’s degree in Management and Communication. He worked at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid (F.A.S.) for eleven years. He is a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS and an Acceptance Agent. James specializes in U.S. Individual Tax Returns and all its schedules and forms.

Flavia Moneo · Program Manager · Client’s Advocate · Spanish & English

Flavia studied History at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid and has a Master’s degree in Pedagogy and Documentation.

A Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS, she is in charge of the ITIN & EIN applications as an Acceptance Agent.  She is responsible for Reports and Taxes for non-residents: the Modelo 210 and Form 1040NR. ITIN applications W7.

Abílio López · Office Manager · Spanish & French

He studied Chemistry at the Univ. Complutense, he has broad experience in the banking field, with 18 years’ experience at BNP (Banque Nationale de Paris) and Caja de Murcia, dealing with expansion and new branches and real estate loans.

He is responsible for the reception/sending of documentation at/from the office. He prepares the FinCEN 114.

José Miguel Alcalá – Program Manager – Spanish & English

José Miguel graduated at TASIS in England and studied Political Science & Administration at the Complutense in Madrid (Spain). Professional with 25 years of experience in world-leading companies such as Warner, Sony, Mills USA.

He will be preparing all kind of Spanish Tax documents, such as Reports of Assets Abroad (720, D6, ETE…), Spanish Tax Returns…

Sabrin El Amrani · Customer relations · Spanish, Arabic & English

A graduate in Business Administration and Finance from IES Moratalaz (Madrid), she has extensive experience in customer service, with strong communication skills in both English and Arabic. She has worked as an Administrative Technician at RTVE.

She will be responsible for managing communications and customer relations, bringing her experience and language skills to enhance our service.

In honor of our founders

Our company was founded by John G. Kearins in 1965. He was originally responsible for Arthur Andersen’s U.S. tax practice in Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal. After living in Italy for a while John ended moving to Madrid and joined Henry Frautschy, to continue helping U.S. Expats living in Spain.

He was an American Accountant with a Master’s degree from the IE (Instituto de Empresa, Madrid.) with over 20 years’ experience helping Americans living abroad prepare their U.S. Tax Returns. 

He also prepared Spanish Tax Returns for our clients. He created and ran the former Syncordia for almost 20 years. Henry died in March 2011.

John G. Kearins
Founding Member

Attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. He received his degree in accounting and his CPA Certificate from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University. He was admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He specialized in U.S. taxation of American resident abroad for over 45 years. Jack lived in Italy and Spain.
